Who Are We?

Home Who Are We?

There is a need in the DFW community for a Kingdom school that can build the whole child; spirit, soul (mind, will, and emotions) and body. There are many choices for our children’s education; Christian, private, public, charter schools and homeschool. Comenius School for Creative Leadership Dallas is being planted to provide families and students with a unique and innovative experience. We are a non-accredited school so we can opt out of the Federal and State requirements that have become restrictive and burdensome. We have been led by the Lord to build a school based on the model designed by Jon Amos Comenius, the father of modern education and on the very successful Comenius School for Creative Leadership in Ft. Mill, S.C.. We are in close relationship with the leadership in CSCL Ft. Mill to give birth to

this exceptional educational experience for our students. We are thrilled to provide this opportunity to our children in DFW and believe that our community is ready to embrace and support a school led by the wisdom and voice of God.

Our plan is to begin as Pre-K to 6th grade and then add one to two grades per year. We are a Kingdom school that creates (1) the atmosphere of Holy Spirit, (2) the environment of a loving family, (3) the grace to grow in character and fruit of the Spirit, and (4) leaders of tomorrow through innovative teaching methods, multi-sensory curriculum and daily opportunities for leadership and personal responsibility.

This educational model world because it was developed by God and communicated through Comenius.

We have to go from what is essentially an industrial model of education, a manufacturing model, which is based on linearity and conformity and batching people. We have to move to a model that is based more on principles of agriculture. We have to recognize that human flourishing is not a mechanical process; it's an organic process. And you cannot predict the outcome of human development. All you can do, like a farmer, is create the conditions under which they will begin to flourish.Ken Robinson
